JEE (Main+Advanced) : Teaching Methodology

Critical Thinking is examining, questioning, evaluating and challenging, taken-for-granted assumptions about concepts and practices.

We at Allen are the pioneers of developing critical thinking in students that not only ensure that they get great ranks in JEE Advanced but also helps in improving problem solving ability, openness, creativity, organization, planning and making the right choices in life.

By using Critical Thinking students:

• Use their reasoning skills to analyze and evaluate
• Plan and think strategically

CLASS SCHEDULE

• Class lectures have been designed according to the latest pattern and level of JEE (Main+Advanced) and delivered by our expert faculties.
• 5/6 days per week for class 11 , 12 th & 12 passed out students.
• Total 4½ hours of classes per day
• 3 lectures of 90 min.

Backup Classes

• Backup classes for selected topics are arranged regularly for the benefit of students who either missed the classes or want to consolidate the topic.
• These classes are optional.

Doubt Sessions

• These sessions are regularly scheduled in Time Table and also separately arranged for those students who require extra assistance for clarification of their doubts.
• These sessions are optional.

Module

Our Study material known as the 'Module' consists of detailed and easy-to-understand theory of each lesson which is made stronger by several solved questions called 'illustrations'.

The module consist of unsolved exercise section which has different types of :

• Straight conceptual questions
• Application based questions
• Tricky and brain storming questions

Separate exercise for previous year JEE (Main+Advanced) questions.

RACE(Regular Analysis Through Continuous Excercise) / Question Bank

For the comprehensive practice and revision of the topic covered in a chapter, students are given topic wise question bank in each subject which include single & multiple concept based problem. .

BOARD CLASSES

• These are specially designed classes to enhance the performance of students in board exams.
• Special CBSE classes based on NCERT coverage are conducted for the board oriented revision of entire syllabus in Physics, Chemistry & Math

CBSE Compendium

• Special CBSE compendium in Physics, Chemistry & Maths are provided
• These contain descriptive text and important subjective questions with model solution relevant to 11 & 12 CBSE exams.

Periodic tests are conducted to evaluate students preparation and performance in topics covered.

Regular testing improves the examination temperament and time management.

JEE Main Test

One paper of 3 hrs on JEE Main th th pattern is conducted every 5 to 6 week.

JEE Advanced Test

Two papers of 3 hrs each on same day are conducted on JEE Advanced th th pattern every 5 to 6 week.

Board Pattern Test

For Class XI : Two board pattern tests each of 3 hrs. are conducted in the month of September and December (i.e. Physics -1Hr., Chemistry-1 Hr. and Mathematics1Hr.)

For Class XII : Three board pattern tests are conducted in the month of September, December & February (i.e. Physics-1Hr., Chemistry-1 Hr. and Mathematics-1Hr.)

STUDENT MENTORSHIP PROGRAM

Mentorship program is a unique initiative in which a faculty member is assigned as a Mentor for each batch.

Mentors provide academic guidance, personal care, regular individual counseling and motivation to student.

They act like a one-stop solution for any academic or non-academic problems faced by the students.

Revision Classes

Once the syllabus is completed revision classes are conducted to consolidate the entire syllabus.

It is supported by specially designed test.

Score Main Test

It is “All India Test Series” for ALLEN students to judge their performance among large pool of students.

One paper of 3 hours is conducted on the pattern of JEE Main.

Score Advanced Test

t includes part test and full test followed by test discussions that are conducted between JEE Main & Advanced.

Two paper of 3 hrs. each are conducted on the pattern of JEE Advanced

Most of tests are Computer Based Test (CBT’s).
